Happy Memorial Day to those that don’t have to work and are at the beach tanning and lazing and having a good day…Boo! 😦
Annoyingly my dreams last night consisted of “to-do” lists and now I can’t remember what was on there!! And I know it was important! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s just not fair!
The least my mind can do, since I’m not sleeping well and so having these dozing dreams, is allow me to remember them when they are important! I mean, that’s also part of the reason why I am not sleeping – the fact that I have so much on my mind, ticking away, and it won’t shut off. And now I’m sitting down trying to write down and re-create all those “to-do’s” and instead just staring at a blank page next to me.
Let’s hope they make themselves present throughout the day as today is a busy day and then tomorrow is just going to be crazy super super busy as I have to be at the theatre at 8am to start tech as my show opens tomorrow night. And so I’m pretty sure some of those silent “to-do’s” have to do with tomorrow and the show! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no time to dwell on it – so will wait for those AHA moments to come to me….hopefully…at bizarre times…..please….

First day of Jose Rivera rehearsals today!! WOO HOO!!!
An exciting day in terms of it being the first day of an amazing opportunity but the day was just hectic to say the least.
It started out with a slow boat to China…the trains today were soooooooooo slow….and not just in the morning it turned out, it was ALL trains ALL day!! The train system was just out to get me when I had such a busy day! Had to go to work and then dash (or slow boat it) to rehearsal, then be on call with calls forwarded and my blackberry flashing on the table in front of me for five hours and dealing with that, and then dashing (slow boating) back to the office to deal with things and catch up….and still here!! Sooooo sad!!! I am guessing the train back home will be a slow boat too!! Boo 😦

And you know what slow boating meant….more friggin’ tip-toe time!!!! As if I need more of that, seriously!! And more standing time! Ugh.
Next up, the escalators didn’t work at Grand Central and they are loooooong! Now granted, I always walk up them but at least they are moving!! It makes such a difference, and you can’t stop to rest as you have to keep up with the crowd in front and behind or you’ll get schmooshed! I had a flashback to my stairs cardio at the office the other day – miserable!
One of those days….and it just continued and continued!
My boss is out of the country, my intern has finals for law school, the new employee is in the Bahamas getting her visa, and daytime rehearsals started today……….
So the best I could do was watch my blinking and flashing and call forwarding blackberry, and every break I got in rehearsal, (and some sneaky under the table moments),I checked and responded and dealt with office life that was still going on around! Which should normally be fine but this week has been CRAZY!! I mean, talk about drama – there is always drama around me, and with me, I know I know – I am a drama queen – but I fully accept and take responsibility for my OWN drama but I am not causing the office drama! Just bad timing week with everyone out but little me to fend off everything! Which is fine….just complaining…thank you blog 🙂

I did have to change my cell phone voice message as the calls were being forwarded and I realized I couldn’t have them be ringing the office and then getting transferred to me singing “Za-Za-Zoe”!!! So have an odd professional message now…which I apologize for…BUT it will be back hopefully over the weekend, after another day tomorrow that will be exactly like this!
So don’t fear folks the singing message you all love so much will be back in no time!
Okay, need to get out of here as been working like a crazy woman for over 12 hours now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
