Horrible out today in merry and sunny (not) ol’ England!
It has been raining ALL day long!!! ALL DAY LONG!!!
Grey.
Windy.
Cloudy.
Rain.
Cold.
Such a pleasant environment, hey!!!
It’s a perfect time to watch movies and do nothing under the covers…but I am not good at doing that when I have so much on my mind…and so much going on inside my belly!!!
The little monkey is still here with us….or rather, he is still crammed and crunched and putting a lot of pressure on me and pains but still from the inside!
However, a good friend of mine said that the little monkey should wait to come out until after the 23rd so that he would be past being on the cusp of two astrological signs…which I know nothing about! I mean, I know literally nothing about signs and what they represent, so would never consider that, but I think though that the little monkey was listening to his Auntie as he has remained from saying hello in this astrological cusp!
Astrological signs really do elude me. I feel quite out of it as everyone around me seems to really know things and take their signs seriously – or even consider someone’s signs when dating – or my favorite is when someone asks what sign you are and I would say “Taurus” and they go “Ohhhhhhhhhh!”
It appears I make sense to them after I have revealed to them what sign I am????!! What the??!! Still so foreign to me!!
I am not going to offend anyone as I know people really believe in it all…I just don’t. I mean, I don’t know enough about it….but I am a little hesitant with it all. Sorry believers!!
Do people who really believe in signs…do they plan their babies around it? Is that a real thing?
Well, as we reach the end of the 23rd of September today this therefore means no cusp now, and the little one will therefore be a Libra….is that a good thing or a bad thing? What does a Libra mean?
I guess I will have to read up 🙂

I took my mum to the river today on a walk. She had never been down there and it’s not very far away from home – and of course we seized the moment as it was sunny and hot outside…which it hasn’t been really here at all…of course I will take the cold gladly after the hot hot hot of NYC and Greece I have been through 🙂
But the stereotype of England is rain…and sadly it is more truth than myth. It has been raining a lot and quite poopy, and not a warm summer at all so there hasn’t been a day to go to the river and walk down there and show my mum….so today was the day!
It was nice down there. We went to the pub and had some lemonade and some fries 🙂 And looked at the river view…as well as take in the scenery of a crazy woman at the table behind us! She had two chiuwawa dogs and was just quite the character! I tried to get some of it on my video upload but I wish I had caught her introduction. There were two women originally sitting at the table next to us and she actually came up to them and said she wanted that table!! She said then to them to tell her when they were leaving as she was going to wait! Well these women were pissed off with that, so of course they left and didn’t tell her – so when the woman finally noticed, and it took her a while, she called them Bitches! Loudly! Which of course made me and my mum laugh out loud. And so she turned to us and said “you heard me”! Well who wouldn’t??!! I think she was glad we heard honestly as then she wouldn’t stop going on about how bad those women were! While trying to take control of her dogs…a little crazo!!!!
But we’re all a little crazo really!
My attention quickly averted to a father with his little boy, who kept crying every time he didn’t get what he wanted! Perhaps a future premonition to what it may be like with the little schmonkie!!!! Oy vey!
It is funny how my mind has shifted to noticing little kids more, and I get flashes of what life may be like or could be like, or just notice things that could be perfect for life with (as Stuart said yesterday that was a shocker to hear) OUR SON!!!!

But on our walk back, after some exploration of roads, we ended up near a huge park with soooo many kids playing on the cool play swings and slides and even a water pool….it was amazing! I was a jealous big kid 🙂 But then I was also eyeing how we got there to remember for when OUR SON is around to take him!! Weird!!
And I just kept noticing more parks and picnic areas and strollers along the route home. Especially how perfect The Chiswick House will be – which is something like 60 acres of perfect baby greenery.
It was nice but I overdid it with how much walking – now my back keeps seizing 😦
Back to the baby book so that I have a name for OUR SON!! Can’t seem to get used to that at all!! Am trying to by saying it in capitals over and over though haha!

What’s funny is that half of the 365 will be in America and the other half will be in the UK – that worked out coincidentally!!

So early in the morning, so tired, texting on my phone, and then I hear…
“What is that? A smartphone?”
And that’s how it all began!!
I look up to see a middle-aged quite large man standing next to me who started chatting to me about how he doesn’t have a cell phone, and he must be the last New Yorker not to own one, and he’s an accountant, and has many friends all over England, and has lived in Astoria for more than 40 years, in a house his father built actually, and he watches the theatre, and has a good friend who is big in the Yiddish theatre community, and really, he was sweet!
I, of course, am too nice so could not resort back to texting and emailing and ignore him, especially as we rode the N train together and then also switched to get on the 7 train together, as we were both going to Grand Central! And, I just feel bad and can’t just turn my back, so was chatty-von-chatto all the way from Astoria to work!
At 9am!
Right before we arrived at Grand Central, he said…
“I hope to see you again.”
Me: “I am sure we will bump into each other, I always see the same people on trains”
Him: “That would be great to ride the train again with a pretty lady like you”
Did he not notice the ring on my finger?? (that I did not try to hide but instead hold up on the pole I was holding on to near his eye line!)
Or the bump?? (I even opened up my coat and leant back!)
Oh well.
Trust my luck, I will probably see him tomorrow morning again!!!!!!!!!!
