Today it is 36 weeks!!!
So I’m in my ninth month!! Holy CRAP!!!
I took my monthly photo this morning so will have to post – actually am behind in posting the last few monthly bump photos but thought I would wait until 40 weeks (if the schmonkie doesn’t come before that which I am told is unlikely as first babies usually come late) and then can put them all together to see the whale I gradually became/have become!!
I finally caught up with What To Expect When Expecting! I got through all the months and am in the Labour and Delivery section now…which I am guessing I need to know about haha!
It’s funny as I think I was still on month 4 when I got to London so it’s been a crash course to catch up on in just a couple of weeks! I actually left that book in London so had no chance to read it before. And I know I know, people keep asking why I didn’t just skip to the right month to catch up but I felt guilty! And I stumbled across a number of things that could have been useful back in the appropriate month but hey!!
Two or three more books to go!!
Actually my mum has already read one book and made notes for me!! Yup, and highlighted!! So I need to read that or the notes or both!!
And then…I have to learn it and remember it and put it into practice with the little schmonkie!!
Sidenote: I have to adapt my push-ups as yesterday and today my wrist really hurt and my joints on my right elbow hurt like they were being strained…because I am a whale!! So need to go onto my knees and adapt before I injure myself I think.

Such a quick trip to Vermont for our friend’s wedding and back. It was a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-trip sadly 😦 Boo!!!
Sooooooooo tired and not feeling so great probably as sooooooo tired.
It was raining and pouring while we were there but of course it was sunny and beautiful the day we were leaving!! Didn’t get to hike outside up in VT like I had wanted to for my 365, didn’t get to take Stuart to see Middlebury again as it was just too far away for such a short trip – we arrived, had rehearsal dinner until late, then no sleep as bed was size of my left foot as an added problem, so up with no lie in, out to get groceries on car trip adventure, then out again to have some lunch with others once awake, then back to get ready for the wedding, then wedding and reception until late, no sleep again, up for brunch early this morning with wedding gang, then on the road again back!!! CRAZY!!!
However, amid the crazy busy hustle and bustle schedule we did play a game of croquet at the wedding and I won!! Never played before! AND I was in my wedding reception dress and heels sinking in the grass – still won! 🙂
Makes me want to take up croquet now!!
Or try golf actually as have never played that either – except for mini golf – perhaps I have a natural swing for that too!!
