Operation 365 Poem: day 282…Gym Lady

Gym Lady

You are beautiful
You are stunning
You make my heart pound
When I’m running

One look over at you
I see what I wish for
A gorgeous body
No one around can ignore

The definition in your legs
The definition in your arms
The curves of your outline
Sets off sexy alarms

You turn my head as you pass
You own the room
Everyone is watching you
And your va va voom

How do I be like you?
How do I get that tone?
How long do I have to be at the gym?
As I really want to go home!
I don’t think it’s possible actually
I think I’m missing that chromosome 😦

Operation 365 Poem: day 277…I’ve Fled

I’ve Fled

The horn beeps
It’s something familiar
I walk home instead
Choosing the nonlinear

Getting lost in the streets
Looking in windows as I pass
Proving a point by walking
Mentally rewarded at last

If only I had checked
By turning back my head
I would have seen a different car
And perhaps not have fled

No mobile to text
No way to even know if I’m missed
Stranded in a suburb
Now I’m super pissed
